You can set up periodic time download in Millennium. It means that time will be automatically downloaded to all controllers after each specific period of time (defined in minutes). Follow next steps to set up periodic time download:

1.       Stop Millennium Enterprise/Expert at the server. If you are running Millennium as application then just close the program. If you are running Millennium as a service then go to Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Find Millennium service and do a right click -> Stop.

2.       Make sure that DC96 program was closed. Start task manager and click                                  button. Make sure that DC96.EXE is no in the list.

If it is in the list then select this line and click ‘End Process’ button:

 

 

Windows will ask you:

 

 

Click ‘End Process’ button to confirm.


3.       Go to folder where Millennium installed. Typically it is ‘C:\MPW’. Find file ‘DC96.INI’ and open it for edit.

 

4.       Insert following string at the end of the file:

period_reload_time_min=45

-----------------------------------------

The value after equal sign is the time period in minutes after which the time will be downloaded. So in example time will be downloaded every 45 minutes. You can set desired value.

 

Note: This string must follow right after last string in file. All characters must be lower case, without spaces before and after equal sign.

 

5.       Save changes.

6.       Start Millennium. If you are running Millennium as application then just start the program. If you are running Millennium as service then go to Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Find Millennium service and do a right click -> Start.
